A young person with short hair, glasses, and a white shirt working on pottery in a studio, wearing a black apron and using a tool on a clay piece. Various clay pots and tools are on the table in front of them, with shelves and yellow artwork on the wall in the background.

My name is Eva (“Yevah” in Russian- my native language) and I am a Santa Cruz based artist, naturalist and teacher.

Some of my biggest passions in life are exploring my creativity with my hands, wandering through unknown terrains and teaching anything I find exciting.

Pottery became a part of my story in 2010 when I randomly signed up for a beginner throwing class at De Anza College. I have been absolutely hooked since.

My favorite means of creating is to sit down and make something I have never attempted to create before, hence my work features many unique, one-of-a-kind pieces. Having said that, I also have experience making sets and custom orders.
I am constantly inspired by my intimate connection to nature, the fine line between dream & waking life, and my deep emotions.

My work features a lot of bright colors and fun textures in hopes of spreading joy and magic through my art.

I have experience teaching private and group wheel pottery, organizing a kids summer clay camp independently, running pottery studios and facilitating workshops. My art has been featured and sold all over California.

All of my pottery is microwave, oven and dishwasher safe.
